Cub Scout Pack 109; Boone NC
Cub Scouts (boys enrolled in the 1st through the 5th grades) usually meet 3 to 4 times a month during the school year in small groups made up of (5 to 10 boys) called dens. Den meetings are packed with fun, games and great activites that can all be used toward earning their rank and activity badges. Once a month all the dens gather at ta central location for a gathering called a Pack Meeting. Pack Meetings are where the dens can show off the skills that they have learned over the last month. Meetings are often full of cheers, songs, and skits. The highlight of the Pack Meetings is always centered around the awards ceremony where the Pack Leader, called a Cubmaster, helps each Den Leaders present the boys with their latest ranks and activity badges.
